Default safe tyre size 18"

hi all i have a chance of a set of 18"s need 2 tyres anyway,so the thing i need to know is this what size tyres should i use on my classic not lowered at all and doesnt often have rear passengers if that matters.only asking as i dont know the size of the 2 that are ok so would maybe have to buy 4 if they are no good.they are on a legacy as well.hence not knowing as to if they will be the right size or not.thanks

I had 215/35 on mine and they still needed the arches modding/rolling. It was lowered though.

I'm sure it was 215, was definitely 35 profile. 18" alloys & tyres cost me £3600 It was back in '97 mind.

215/35 is the right size for classic's unless your slammed should'nt have any problem's as long as the wheel's are the right offset

Yeah, but it looked mighty fine. First lowered on 18"s according to GGR. Back when only the rally nerds knew what the car was.
