Subaru : IMPREZA STI TYPE R V4 *415BHP, 400LBS*

hi guys, does anyone know anything about the above car, is it owned by anybody here? im interested in buying it and would appreciate some advice on what to look out for when viewing it.

dont know much about it myself other than it has been for on tehre for a while and i think this is the second time around, if i remeebr riht and i may be wrong i think it was first up at £10k looks like someone will get a bargin

Calipers look like four pots to me, not six.

Otherwise a very good spec.

ive not contacted him yet but i was thinking how the gearbox mannaged to handle that power? i believe its a standard box

Why have an engine which can take 600 bhp with a turbo that can flow 550 bhp and run it at 415 bhp?

Because running it that conservatively means it run that power level all day, everyday with no issues whatsoever. Plus anything more than what he's running now is getting into the realms of unusable power on the road in my opinion.

I can understand that i suppose, but surely a turbo aimed at 415bhp will be more driveable on the road?
