i always drive with my window open a bit even on cold days but for a while now i have been able to hear the birds twittering over the noise of the car
its taken me weeks to work out that the birds are coming from my wing mirror.
i cant stop the noise unless i press the glass but its getting too dangerous to drive like that. the glass isn't loose or anything and i have not hit the wing mirror
Yeah, you need some seed to coax it out, put a little pile on the lip of the mirror, then when the little blighter comes out grab him (or her). Place the little birdie into a box with some hay for release into the wild later. No more bird twittering away behind your wing mirror.
It is also a good idea to fit a bird guard now to stop another getting in there. Basically a strip of fine mesh fitted in the gap between the mirror and the housing to stop another getting in. Do both sides
You can now release your captive, take a nice drive into the countryside and choose somewhere nice, where you think it will enjoy living out it's remaining years on this earth. Carefully release it and say your goodbyes.
