Question Where To Go For New Ecu & Remap Near West Midlands?

im looking to have a decatted exhaust and apexi power fc fitted and remap
i would be buying these brand new probably

how much approx?

where to go?

any thoughts?

Yep API near Leamington, they use Pat & Bob R and they,re all a great bunch who work there too...

API without doubt, they built and tuned my engine almost 2 years ago and it's still going strong.

Right as im exsperienced and u should of called me any way ill tell u where to go lucko..

api uses fat pat from clinic
clinic fat pat as stated
zen does his own mapping in my mind A1 at mapping
jgm will come to u at a cost and is up and coming i would also use him
tsl use paul from zen and jgm i still believe

And thats about it for where you are and what u want doing ok kidda....

totally standard at the moment

And what ya aiming to extract? easy have simtek supplied fitted and mapped for that price and a bag of change for other mods.
Far superior way to go than Power fc (imho) Speak to the mappers(API amongst others use simtek also)
money for exhaust there two( i have some 3" pipework centre and back in stock ,and a used blitz)

Says power fc ect in op make ya mind up lmao Im running eutronics and zen mapped it few weeks back car runs sweet didnt think ecu could change a car so much power is silky smooth £150+ but worth every penny.

jgm will supply and fit simtec around £1200 -£1300 inc anti lag and launch give him a bell he will come to u also which is bonus ....

trouble is i want a decatted exhaust that doesnt make you ears bleed and i cant be doing with a front mount as dont like the look of them

so in a nutshell fast car loud not too loud

just sold an sti6 with crazy loud decat, hated the way it sounded

exhasut go for 3" inc 100 cell de cat keep the burble sounds great and passes mot sorted .....around £1300 tsl.. sure u can get alot cheaper just going on what ive had or got at the min mate ..

Front mount u not need unless u going over 400bhp figure so dont worry go for decent top mount sure originall is fine on sti .....

API also use Bob Rawle, I know as he mapped my car. On the subject of exhaust noise you can have big power without lots of noise. My car (circa 400bhp) is a full decat, with equal length ported headers etc.,.. but measured only 89db at Scooby Shootout.

Again the spec was decided between David at API and Bob Rawle and I couldn't be happier with the end result.
