Default Boot Release

Anyone else had an issue with the internal boot release on an 04 plate WRX? Mine has just stopped working for some reason...

At the actual lock mechanism - a small lever in the centre of the boot.

Just checked and I think my cable has snapped!

I think the switch was to stop people from smashing window and pulling the boot release....
