I WANT U JUST THE WAY U R SAID BILLY JOEL

hello ladles and gents
got a (cold) call yesterday from the sales bod at heritage in leicester (dave preece): he said they are actively canvassing owners who have cars now hitting three years old with a view to up-selling them on the new WRX.
anyone else had similar calls from their service dealer?
does this mean a) no-one's buying the WRX and they need to kickstart demand or b) here's a dealer that's worked out that using its database of customers might actually just be a good way of selling more vehicles
personally i'll take the test drive out of curiousity but as billy joel memorably said about the mk1 impreza - i want you just the way you are.

I think they're being smart. Dave Preece is a good guy who I would certainly buy from again though. Seems like a reasonable thing to do.
Fred Heritage recently changed to using their WRX as his own car and the look is starting to grow on me a bit.... but I think I'll stick with my P1 for a few years

no contest with a p1 mind.

it looks OK at best in the flesh...
the wing is "gak" !!! it's just ugly...
and the lights... well... they are HUGE... but... you do get used to them...
it's all a matter of preference... the lines on the car.. the fender flares are a nice touch...
i saw it and the Detroit International auto show... pics are here:

Billy Joel said that about a Scoob? you sure? you're not just a huge Billy Joel fan who tries to include little Billy Joely things into all your posts, cause as Elvis once said, "You Gotta Stop"
Lancaster Sevenoaks still call me, after my visits too them, and they did even before the new model, just to let me know they had something in thet I may be interested in. They are pretty thorough, and although cold calling aint cool, they do take a lot of time and effort with potential customers.
Now, anyone going to buy one of the faded yellow ones they have parked out the front?
Not bothering to correct the spelling
