Sorry m8, but you've got nothing on my music tastes, I'm big into KISS, have been most of my walking life, love rock music like skunk annansie, y&t, van halen, smash mouth etc, have abba cd's that I drive fast to in the car, and I'm a big Barry Manilow(yep, you read that correctly) Neil Diamond, and Billy Joel fan, even been to see Neil a few months ago and loved every minute of it Love the prodigy, and New Order/Joy Division, and in the 90's big into Acid house etc. Even love classical as I used to play the classics on the piano. So as you can see, my tastes are quite varied!!

I have a pile of CDs in front of me that I've just removed from my car:
Bizet: Carmen and L'Arlésienne Suites, Orchestre des Concerts Lamoureux
Bonkers 3 mixed by DJ Dougal
Wall Of Sound sampler mixed by Touche of the Wiseguys
Enya - A Day Without Rain
Pulp - Disco 2000
DJ Misja Helsloot - In Trance We Trust 7
Prodigy - Fat Of The Land
Tribal UK mixed by Danny Tenaglia
My winamp playlist currently swings violently from The Rolling Stones to Rotterdam Terror Corps (200bpm gabber!) back to Missy Elliot!
I'm interested to know if anyone else's tastes are as wide?

Adrian,
Hello mate!
I'm the same. I'm a practising classical pianist, who loves old skool, d&b, and hip hop, so the tastes can be varied!
Changer is:
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings
DJ Brisk - Helter Skelter NYE 96
Trance nation (some good tunes)
Bone Thugs and Harmony - East 1999
Alicia Keys - Songs in A minor
Moondance - DJ Hype
D12 album
Ludacris - Word of Mouth
CD collection goes from Mozart symphonies to early Dutch techno, and from Art of trance type stuff to NWA!

heh, nice to see the hardcore vibe in other people
Where can you get gabba on CD though?
Try to find it everywhere but its always on tape. Its getting to the point where I might change to a tape headunit to get some gabba in the car.

Beatles, The Who, The Stones, The Jam, Sex Pistols, Grand Master Flash, Young MC, The Kinks, Michael Jackson, The Clash, Puffy, Big Joe, DMX, Oasis, Stone Roses, RadioHead, Mike Oldfield, Softcell, All manner of house and funky house music;
All part of my collection. I would say I have varied tastes in music.
I hate immature people who listen to 1 type of music and slag off every other genre, just because they don't think it's 'cool', or because they're scared that their peers will ridicule.

yes, do alot of djing in the west country. myself and two other friends dj under the name of "combination" and play eclectically thru jazz, funk, hip hop, latin, brazilian, soulful house, broken beats (west london vibes on a housey tip, but with mad beat structures, very jazz influenced), amongst a whole host of weird and varied beats. we are children of dance/club culture, but we love all qualtiy music played with a soulful feeling. we are not scared to take risks with the dancefloor, and will play anywhere that they can handle the sound.
as mista weava i play drum and bass, jazzy and soulful, with a few harder numbers chucked in.
if any one wants a free cd, send me contact details and i will post.
cheers,
weava.

Err just a bit, from A-ha to Morbid Angel, Bathory , Slayer, Napalm Death, and lots of stuff between like Nine In Nails, Skinny Puppy, New Model Army, Alison Moyet, Art Of Noise, Beth Orton, VNV Nation, Toris Amos, White Zombie . Like some classical too and a bit of hard house.
Fave band is Fields Of The Nephilim.
Only thing I donl' like is dull mainstream stuff such as Bryan Adams and charty pop crap oh and country and western... the most dangerous place to walk is the middle of the road.

Astraboy, no gabber on CD (car speakers can't handle it!) just on vinyl and mp3, Rotterdam Terror Corps - Unleash Hell, Kim Junior - Kill Off were the last couple on 12" I bought. All very pleasant stuff.
