Default Hi all :)

Well hopefully I will be getting an 03plate WRX STi soon. I am going to hopefully see it on Saturday. I'm told its "got all the pro-drive gear" which im not sure what all that is! But its been rolling roaded at 350BHP. I won't lie....I don't really know what comes on the pro-drive etc. It's blue with the yellow graphics, which i'm not 100% sure I'll keep on or not yet really!! From the pics though it looks a minter!! Will be trading in a BMW 320D Compact (150BHP) which is quite boring to be honest

know a chris dicko with a bmw 320d

anyways

tracker aint cheap but u dont have to have one as the savings on insurance are often less than the price of the tracker.

if its an 03 sti Prodrive Performance Pack, it has uprated fuel pump, hi flow cat exhaust and a remap (something might be missing) and that comes too 301bhp. make sure u get the certificate to state this has been done.

other than that have fun and u will have a huge smile on ur face and an empty wallet

Is he bored with his as well? hehe.

Just need to confirm the insurance in the morning, as I know some companies require trackers. Im with directline, so not sure on their policy.

Should there be certificates of the PPP? I'd like there to be 350BHP but if she isn't pumping out that much it's not the end of the world. But I didn't know about there being certificates for the PPP, but suppose it would make sense!

Bit worried about the wallet as well........but we shall see

yeh ppp comes with a certificate to say when it was fitted, i got one with mine. i think the major insurance companys insist on trackers but try:

A-Plan
Greenlight
Keith Micheals

for very good quotes

i pay £725 for my 05 STI PPP and £525 for my 02 WRX

how old are u by the way?

I need to phone them in the morning, but doing 'fake' real quotes as if I didnt have insurance with them come out around £850 which is fine to be honest. Hope the don't bend me over though when I phone!!

Well, good news is they only want an extra £100 which is good! Bad new is......yep, they want a tracker!

I have one in my BMW currently, but isnt active. Can you remove the tracker from my current car, and put it in the new one? Do they allow this?

Cheers

Default Tracker

isnt there one currently in the for sale section thought i had seen one going in there.

When i brought my 03sti i presumed there was a tracker fitted, later found out there wasnt so i contacted the insurance company and they only stuck on another £150 the premium. Turns out to be less than the tracker and subscription

She said on the phone that for the "theft" part of the fully comp to be covered it had to have a tracker....I maybe don't Need one, but wouldn't be covered it if was nicked.

Will have a look in the For Sale section cheers
