Default How much would you let this go for?

I have this Impreza: *** 2005 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI, ONLY 15K MILES*** on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 05-Oct-08 12:04:58 BST)

but fancy an M3. The car is perfect and until I seen how cheap M3's were I had no intentions on selling. Now I know the market has dropped considerably recently but if you were in no rush to sell, what would be the lowest you would take for it? Bearing in mind some dealers still have them for £13-14k

Pm me the lowest price you would go! I just don't want to give it away its an awesome car

I think you may have to let it go for 11k as i have seen quite a few for around that. Although yours is lovely. I want it!

i know the feeling mate, i want an M3 to. You can pick them up for 14k and thats for ann 02/03 with 50k on the clock.....! By the way your lucky if you get 13k. 12's more sensible.

I'd love 12k for mine mate! I think it is well worth it but the market is not the greatest at the minute. As for the M3, I can't believe how much they have dropped! They were around 18-19k about 6 months ago!

Not necessarily, maybe he just wants a quick sale for whatever reason. You can't give performance cars away at the moment. I'm willing to bet you don't sell yours as it will not make more than £10k on ebay and that's if you are lucky. It's a very tidy car too.

Unless you get lucky, I reckon you'll be trying to sell for a couple of months to get what the car should be worth. My estimation is £12k.

I've noticed that some dealers have cars up for literally months on end.
I think with today's financial news we are looking over the edge of a financial cliff. If you want to move the car on, then do it quick and price it low. Any hit you take now will be much less than what you're likely to face in a few months time.

That ad is a scam, there's loads of ads on pistonheads like that, never leave a phone number just email, and when you email them you get some **** back about being in storage or something along those lines and how yopu pay some guy for it blah blah blah.

Agreed.

But PLEASE, if you spot a daft price on Pistonheads, click on the report a scam button and tell them immediately.

PH are pretty quick usually at checking it out and 99% of the time the ad has gone withing hours [if not minutes in one case last week where someone was advertising a £13-£14K Touareg for £5K with identical photos to the genuine ad halfway down the page!

Unless we all help out here, the scammers will get net-time they don't deserve so if in doubt, report it pronto!!

As for the Sti - £9,750 should see it away this week but it might well be £8K next week if this banking lark carries on and confidence continues to tumble.

I think sub £10k for the STi, given the mileage, is low. Having said that, the banks are collapsing so getting this kind of cash is going to be easier said than done in future. Depressing!

Hope bike prices plummit too as I am in the market soon hopefully

I would be happy with 11.5k but it is not worth selling for less than that. NO WAY

I did get one of those bog standard replies from them saying they were away and it wouldn't be possible to view/test the car, but I could put a deposit on it. Debating whether to or not!

I wonder how many people do actually get caught out by this sort of thing.

8 grand for a dealer to stick it up for at least £13k? get real mate, no wonder dealers are considered robbing b'stards.
not saying their stocks are slow to shift at the moment, but how do dealers manage keep a straight face when giving people a p/x price at the moment??

good luck with the sale clarkie
