How in Gods name do you mute the beep on the opening ceremony?

Press the button in when you turn them on and keep it pressed until the back light goes out then release the button.
Need to do the same for all 3.
I keep the oil pressure one on to make sure I know if the oil pressure is low
When they are muted the alarms dont work at all.

I think this mutes the buzzer all the time doesn't it, rather than just during the opening ceremony? I keep my buzzer on as I'd like the warning during driving but, boy is it annoying at start up!

I have the same question for an Auto Gauge boost gauge!!

Tried the same as the instructions above, as the instructions that came with the gauges kind of hinted at that........but it doesn't work.

Actually, mine are Auto Gauges not Prosport, and mine behave as described. You do have to keep the button pressed throughout the start up cacophony though.
