Just dropped my MY99 turbo off for its 22.5K mile service, and jumped into the fabulous Justy courtesy car.

My first thought (after 'ouch my back, gee these seats suck') was 'why are these headlights at least twice as bright as those on the Impreza'.

So, anyone got any ideas why Subaru can put brilliant headlights (brighter, longer range) on its pi**y little Justys, but owners of their performance cars have to suffer with substandard lighting ?

This is my second service with the Justy as a loan car.

Not sure what you have to do to get the Legacy.

Its very dangerous getting out of a 218 bhp Impreza into what feels like a 40 bhp Justy. I have to keep telling myself 'don't overtake, don't overtake'.

Had my scoob serviced a couple of weeks ago and had a Justy as a courtsey car, they did have a P1 in but i tried and failed to get that instead..inconsiderate bunch these dealers, anyway the Justy is the most shocking car i have driven in years, i mean come on, who wants to wind up their own windows

Spoke to the service guy when I picked my car up because I noticed that as well as the Legacy's there was an X reg impreza sport sitting there.

He said that only 'someone who turns up with three or four kids will get big cars.'

Hmmm, sort of logical, in a really warped kind of way ...

But then again, at least they are free.
