Default classic ppp tuning at alan jeffery, any good?

Two questions guys, first,my late classic with ppp seems to have a slight misfire from cold at lower revs, that seems to all but disapear when the engine is warmed through?does anyone know if this is a characteristic of the PPP fitted ecu,or a tuning issue? My cars engine is standard ,apart from a centre box decat, could this be the problem??Second question,i am based in the south west off england, and are thinking of taking my car from a rolling road session at alan jefferys company near plymouth, has anyone used this guy, what are your opinions of his work on imprezas??

For a slight missfire I'd always go to a main dealer at first. There's one in Plymouth (or there was a couple of years ago). But, in answer to your question Alan Jeffery is okay. They've worked on my car and whilst I would have chosen Andy F, JGM, Zen etc, they did a good job, so I can't really complain. This was for tunning - fit a turbo, injectors, Apexi etc

Does it feel like a pulsing when you try to hold constant revs? It's normal

why would you take an 8 year old car to a main dealer when there are specialists available at probably cheaper rates.

Especially when the main dealer in Exeter has only sold Subarus since Rover went bust!

And they have a fighting chance of sorting the problem whereas most main dealer mechanics (used in the loosest sense of the word) don't have a clue.

Alan's is spot on, nice people to. Phoned them yesterday with a bit of a fix and although they couldnt help they took the time and pointed me in the right direction.
Ashburton motor works is your nearest SUBARU dealer. They are top blokes to, been up there today infact.
