Bonnet mini scoop (good or bad idea?)
I am looking into getting one of these to sit over my K&N, not for the look but for actual functionality as I get air intake temps of about 50 and beyond sometimes.
I am sure I have read on here someone fitted one of these then there MAF went or the bottem end went or something like that.
Has anyone got one fitted or is anyone aware of problems these cause.
Thanks

I think they look quite good. Mine is used as a track car aswel so looks dont matter all that. Was thinking of putting the filter in the wing too but I would then need to take a 4 hour trip back upto scotland for Andy to re-map so this is just a cheaper option.
Do you hae a cold air box as I have tried to find one but no joy.

i have one for induction and as soon as the rain starts coming in soon it will be removed great in the dry a ba574rd in the wet sucks the water straight in the filter even worse if you are in the spray of vehicles in front.look good work well in the dry but wet weather get it off!!this is my opinion.

My track car had one, never had any problems.
Just make sure you get one with a deflector undertray, and not just an open one or you will get water onto your induction scoop.
