Default Decent pads for road use

Hi all

So just got a Hawk eye with 12K on the clock and i am told that the pads only have 2k left on them. So my question is, what pads do you all recommend for road use, they are Brembo calipers ( not sure if they make any difference??) but want to make sure i don't get striped up?? I want the same feel as the one's i have and don't want the race one's. I think the tyre's only have about 2k left on them as well but have a mate with a tyre firm so will ask the question about them at a later date.

Your thoughts.

Seen Brembo pads on Ebay for £65.00 I believe these to be good!
also Black Diamond (scoobyWorld) about £90.00. Have been told not to go for ECB meant to be rubbish!

Mintex 1144's are pretty damn good , the 1155's are about as high as you want to go on a road car though.

Just recently had EBC Yellow pads fitted by Zak at Mocom Racing, and they are superb at stopping my car, STi - 320bhp. I used to often use DS 2500 which are equally as good.

I've got Mintex 1155s but find they lack bite unless you're having fun. Now after some 1144s or equivalent...
