Just putting my moaning hat on.
Why is it that people on this board reply to comments, questions, etc with some sort of insult then put a smiley face at the end of it and say only joking, like that makes it ok.
You wouldn't say it in the street, but you do it here.
It easy to say thicko comments without the fear of reprisal or repercussion.
Every one has a off day now and again, but some people are just rude all the time.
It's not big and it's not clever.
I can't guess what comments are coming next(Honest)

god yeah i agree totaly, just think its a chance to spout off at people without getting a beat down.
Its understandable about some things but some are just completley personal and un-called for. imo.

First off..i meet people..and have had no bad experiences as they realise i am not a bad person!(Still waiting for that hard man though..LOL

A lot of the people on the bbs know one another, or have spoken at one point or other, hence many of the type of posts you mention are done because that is what we do in real life.

Its called "Banter". Some people enjoy it. Some people hate it.
My wifes gets cross when I spend an entire evening in the pub with friend doing nothing but taking the mick and scoring points - We enjoy it - She doesn't.
If you dont enjoy it - dont join in and ignore it.

I know mate, but there's banter with wit and humour and there's the banter on this board.
In my job its banter city most days which makes the day go quicker, but some of the comments on this bbs sometimes are just banal.

If Mary Whitehouse came on here (oh i said came which sum kud find rude
) she'd probably have a heart attack. Oh er did she not die the other week? In which case this is in bad taste & may offend sum. But again not me life is full of shyte & u just have 2 deal with it so as they say wake up & smeel the coffee or don't wotever floats yer boat? There is plenty of usefull info around here so take the joshing with a pinch of salt & have fun if possible
