Default angled afterburner opinions please

What does the afterburner vortex with angled exit look like on a blobeye. Had a look round the gallery but its hard to tell off the photos. Just worried it might look a bit weird with the exhaust sticking out at an angle and out of line with the bumper recess. Any opinions?

I had the angled exit on my old bugeye.

Like you say...it's hard to tell from photos how it really sits (especially my poor quality ones lol).

But personally I preferred the angled look of the afterburner to my current straight exit on my hawkeye. Look more aggressive, and no doesn't look wierd at all.

is it just me or does it look like its sitting in the wrong place. could be just the pictures but it looks like they sit too much to one side of the bumper recess. Is it this obvious in real life?

This was a pic take today, its at a slightly better angle, but it does sit slap bang in the middle of the cut out!, bare inmind the cut out is also on the start of the bumper corner, so that throws it out also:-

I have to agree, the burnt tip thing instantly put me off that exhaust. They should make it optional IMHO

I had the H&S Jap style and I liked it at the time, novel and all that, but I wouldn't buy another one now. There are better exhausts and personally I prefer the Straight exits like the blitz/ninja/RCMS etc

Sound clips are in view my scooby for the Jap H&S and of the alternatives

cheers darren but do you have a photo taken from a bit higher up. like stood up behind the car as that is the angle it will normally be seen at.
So if i dont go for this then what does everyone else reccomend?

I'll have Afterbuner backbox (angled exit) and a unresonatedcentre section coing off my car in the next few weeks. Open to resonable offers

Straight exit looks less 'stuck on' and more 'stock'

One of the best sounding exhaust systems about IMO.

Are these exhausts loud? I've been thinking about getting one for my blob but am a bit concerned cos where I stay there is a copper who hates loud subarus and pulls them whenever he can. At the moment I have a catted Revolution Back box and have been told its quite quiet and I got pulled and given a fine!!

Although not crazy loud like the Nur Spec, alot of people still found my Afterburner loud when I had it on my bugeye.
Whenever I pulled up outside my girlfriend's house she would know when to come out without me calling her because she could hear my car from down the road

had the afterburner on my bug for about a month, it had its own style of rumble.... tbh a lot of the aftermarket exhausts sound quite similar on a scooby.

But is more restictive as needs more bends for straight exit, why exhausts like Nur specs come angled for better flow
