Default clutch pedal

iv got a 98 classic and clutch pedal is not returning all the way up after changing gear any ideas ?

Probably the clutch return spring has gone.

The return spring should be visable when you take the intercooler off.

If it isnt there just fit a new one. Easy job.

It will not be the spring it could be you boiled your fluid leed it and try that if not could be clutch master cylendar....

4 people all with boiled fluid. Cant see it myself.

Return spring is most likely.

Do a search - it has come up many times before. I had it in my last Scooby and it was the master cylinder. Replacing the return spring did not solve it.

Also had it on mine and was the return spring that had gone.

checked spring seems ok check master cylinder next is it expensive job ?
