Mocom Racing tomorrow!
Yippee!
The wait is almost over, and i'll be able see if all the money is worth it!
Can anybody help me as i have never been to Mocom before. Where abouts is Mocom, i've got the address and know how to get to North Weald, but where actually is there place?? Is it easy to find
Is it near to North Weald airfield?

Traveling towards the Harlow/M11 roundabout its the first turning on the left after the roundabout that takes you North Weald Airport. The turning is opposite a farmhouseKeep going down the lane till you reach the industrial area and Zaks is first right through some units and is right in the corner.
If you are coming in the other direction its first right (not the garden centre) after exiting the Harlow/M11 roundabout onto the A414 Chelmsford. If you get to the Airport turning roundabout you have gone too far.

Whiteline Steering rack bushes and alignment adjustment, also my header tank failed so I have a nice shiney Forge Alloy one to go on. Also a rear lower arm brace to try out if I can get the bugger to fit I also want some guidance as to fitting a cold air feed to the standard air box.

Very happy, all running sweet. Got some good advice too.
Had to change my plugs for colder ones but other than that
Figures not as high as i expected but the car drives so much better and feels so much more powerful, and thats what counts.
Took a little longer to sort out as i have a Blitz DSBC fitted, but got there in the end.

Thinking of taking my car to Mocom for it's service and maybe get it checked out (fuelling etc) as I only got it last month, previous owner had it ECUTek remapped, so would be nice to stick it on the rollers and make sure everythings ok, for peace of mind etc.

Mocom map on the road and don't have rollers, but that can sometimes be better as thats where your going to use it. I had open port mapping on mine.
Took me about 1 hour 15 mins, was only doing 60mph the whole way as car was running bigger turbo and unmapped so keeping it off boost.
A12-A120-M11, nice easy drive with hardly any traffic, at 0730 in the morning.
Certainly worth doing for that added confidence factor, and they certainly know thier stuff so can answer your queries.
Great guys, very pleased with the service and results, make sure you got plenty of fuel, as Zak used over 1/2 tank doing mine.

Didn't get a print out or a comparisan as the car was running out of tune so would have been a good idea to start caining it.
Zak said just over 300bhp, and about 270lbs. Not sure if thats at the Fly or wheels, or how accurate that is as its worked out from computer reading rather than on a dyno.
Welbro fuel pump
Sti pink injectors
Full decat 3"
Upgraded TMIC (bigger than STi)
IHI VF35
K&N Panel filter
The car drives and feels completly different,

Ah, so if I went here for my 4 year/40k service will they be able to check the fuelling etc for me for peace of mind, without having to actually map it?
Xtreme would be a bit closer for me coming from Ipswich but would like to try somewhere else and Mocom seems the next closest.

If you want maps, checked and the service done, then your best bet will be to travel a little bit further to see Zak at Mocom.

I personally would rather not go to Xtreme.
Looks like Zak is the man then
