just come back from christchurch myself
amount of scoobs and leggys and other performance jap metal was immense out there!
like music to my ears the sound of the great flat four rumble
only problem was most were driven by jumped up 19 year olds as you dont by law require insurance in new zealnd so the boy racers go to the forecourt pay a $1nz and drive a acra away on finance to terrorise neighbourhoods, boy racers are evrywhere, few people killedin hit and runs when i wasout there one in a skyline the car looked like it had hit a wall, all it had done was hit a person and killed the,( i say all i mean physically not morally)

Then you have the people like myself, the performance car enthusiasts. Nice cars that we have spent alot of money on, we go to the track or do late night runs around the hills but we certainly do not terrorise neighbourhoods!
I think i saw the Skyline you were refering to.... the blue one?
There are some nice scoobs around these parts though, NZ's fastest Subaru is a 96 Legacy RS that run's 10's. Lives here in Chrischurch.
