hey guys, i was bidding on this Subaru Forester 2.0 turbo on ebay,

Subaru Forester Turbo 2.0i Aero Kit Cheap to Clear MY00 on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Jul-08 11:46:29 BST)


i cant belive i won it :O, i thought it will be sold more than that

what do you guys think about it. i know this is not a forester forum, but just generally, how are they? what engine does it have??

and is it a good price regarding the minor faults it has????????????

lol, ok sorry i bought the car

going to have a look at it this week, if it only has the ABS problem i think i have bought it cheap

Not jus abs problem thou is it Lots of cosmetic issues to sort if u are fussy. Including new wiring loom for the proper centre console No wonder it was cheap.

Why not just chane it back to an auto box? Would that not be the easiest option?

You miserable bunch of killjoys. This poor lad is chuffed to bits at his new car and all you can do is **** on his parade. I think it's a hell of a lot of car for the money. Yes it'll take some work before it's perfect but the ad was straight about this so he obviosuly knows that. Shame on you all

Certainly different/interesting project! think I would have a look round for an auto box, or maybe get the one with it rebuilt

good luck mate, looks like fun! keep us posted! convert back to auto would be the best way and in doing so you resolve your ABS problems! it might look beyond repare to the amatures on here but lets face it, it should be a good project

I'd be please with that.
I mean lets face it, they can supply you with the original box, get that refurbed and you are laughing (once you've put it back in).
You'll then have a functional manual box, with should recoup a few hundred quid back at least.
