Default BMW 730I V8 OR LEGACY ESTATE TWIN TURBO BILSTEIN EDITION

hey guys need your opinions here..i dono if somone here owned these 2 cars and can give me some pro n cons.....

i have seen 2 cars 1996 BMW 730I V8 in superb nick with 18" chrome bmw wheels projector lights tints etc mileage is 142k with full service history.

and i have seen (new shape) subaru legacy estate GTB Boxter 1998 twin turbo BILSTEIN EDITION recent import with 68k miles...

i like both just really confused now which one to go for i like both of them ....what you guys recon...never owned them before so need bit of help where ...which one is more reliable easy to maintaine etc...any common faults etc

any help would be much appriciated

bmw will be slow and a boat trust me and it wont be the best on fuel , the legacy will be alot faster and mor nimble with abit of playing , go with the legacy imo.

The Beemer might look good, but it'll be as sporty as a dead badger. Get the Subaru with half the miles and much better chassis. To me this is such an obvious choice it is almost no choice.

what ive heared that legacy engines are quite fragile especially turbos ? is that right , water pump , oil pump comon problems etc ? here are some pics

Two very different cars in my opinion, one is a luxury saloon the other is a sporty estate. What do you want out of a car?

1. reliability
2. looks
3. fast enough
4. cheap to run parts service etc ( not talking about fuel cost )

legasy has an ej20 same as the impreza , and its the same with any car , if propperley looked after they will do mega miles and produce good power results and trust me you will lokve the flat for .i like bmw's alot ive had 5 of them and they are great but you would want an e36 M3 to rival a legacy gt or impreza etc etc .

is it easy to get hold of parts for import legacy GTB ? are they same as impreza UK

I had the "new" shape Legacy WR Ltd GT Spec B. Awesome machine EJ20 and twin scroll. It's now up for sale @ Litchfilelds. A real sleeper.
