Default Ford focus euro?

As above,been to look at one today for the missus,(td 1.8 lx 06/56)
Does anyone know what the (euro 4)bit means?
does it mean its an import?
help apreciated.

Depends on the context its used, but Euro4 is to do with emissions.

As above, it means it complies with the euro 4 regs which came into force on 1/1/06

The euro version was just euro 4 compliant, thats the only difference.

If a company car then Euro IV diesel is less tax than a normal diesel.
