Default How much would it cost to build an exact replica of your car??

As above guys.

Im just adding up the cost of items for the new engine build ect and have dont the unthinkable. Ive continued to add up the cost of all of the modifications on my car as it stands now.

This does not include the fact ive had 3 turbos, 4 exhausts blah blah... its just as it stands with the parts its wearing.
It also does not include any labour whatsoever as i do all my mods myself. Nor does it include multiple mapping sessions. Ive just listed one mapping session.

So inc the cost of the car, my money pit stands at shocking £37K

Would i change it for anything else of the same value?

Probably not

Weirdly without labour mine came to £37,000, but that includes a head-unit and amp.... but only one set of wheels !

Ekk ! ( At least it was over 80 months [so far !] )

DunxC

P.S. I will be needing a clutch and some coilovers soon !

Frayz I would love to put on here as to how much I have spent on my car, however, there is just one tiny problem.................if my Mrs was to read this post, I would wake with two essential body parts missing.......

Just had a quick add up, and for the bits that are on the car now, not taking into account several gearboxs/engines etc that will be on top.

£32k without labour. And there are lots of bits that I have forgotten about.

I started driving 2 years ago and spent about 30k in the first year...

bought a mr2 and modded it for a total of 5k

wanted something more practical but still quick so bought a mazda 6 sport for 8k

mazda just didn't cut it and i had experienced a STI for the first time so obsessed on pistonheads and autotrader till i got a great deal on a my02 prodrive style with PPP for 10.5k

sold the mr2 and mazda and spent all the money on the scoob then some!

getting a remap with bob rawle next month which will take the car to exactly where i want it and i swear every time i plant the boot i have no regrets
