As it says prodrive on the log book its a prodrive style and not a car with prodrive performance pack, unless the ppp was added later in which case it should have the certificate to prove it, if not its not that cheap for what it is imho.

And he'll still have it this time net year if he doesn't knock a few grand off the price.
As for the STI above, well, it is 6 years old. I reckon he'd bite if you offered £6500 cash. In fact, start at £5500 and work your way up. Hundreds available and no one wants them. Take him to the cleaners.

I'd been looking at that one too, does appear to be the cheapest new age sti on Pistonheads and in Autotrader. Wondering if it has been accident damaged. Plenty going cheap but no others that cheap. However at car tax being £455 a year in 2010 I think i'm still going have to stick with my diesel because that is daylight robbery from our delightful Government
This is another that took my eye although non sti. Very nice for the money. Subaru : SUBARU IMPREZA WRX 2003 WITH STI FACTORY STYLING

I was looking for one of these three months ago and they where all price in around the £9500-£10000 mark. I eventualy found one for £8500 but I had to change a few thing which cost me about £1000.
So she is a cheap car. People always price for a drop so you will move him a bit I'd say.
As for it been a jap I don't think it is as all the jap prodrive styles that I looked at had Roof hatches so I would say they all did.
Very clean looking car.

Road tax - Parker's
02 Sti will be £300 in 2009 and £455 in 2010 or £250 for 6 months road tax What a rip off. That is why prices are falling and will continue to fall as who wants to pay £250 for 6 months road tax?
