i want to de cat my 03 wrx blobeye but when i look for de cat pipes there are 2 different types does this mean it has two cats or am i being stupid? lol

On the newage cars there is catalytic convertor before the turbo and one after the turbo. To unleash the most power, you need to change both up pipe and downpipe. I also understand that this must be accompanied with remap of the ecu.

I think you will find there are 3 cats, including the up-pipe, if it is anything like the Bugeye WRX. Downpipe, centre cat and up-pipe.

If it's not an STI I'd say there's 3 cats too.

People seem to forget there's a centre cat in there on the later cars. My MY00 classic had a cat in the centre section too. I've heard a lot of people say it's a resonator but it's deffinately a cat as I had a good look in there

I've got an my05 and been told that's got 3 - before & after the turbo plus in the middle of the pipe.
