Default Spec-c windscreen

Just washed the car and have just noticed a crack in my windscreen, does anyone know if the spec-c windscreens are thinner like the rest of the glass,

Yes they are thinner, you need to go though the dealer for the glass really, last one on mine took 6 months, then went to the dealer who got me one in 3 days

I have just looked on my insurance and i am covered for windscreens with a £50 excess, i will see what they say tomorrow but would be tempted to put a normal one in if they are prone to chipping/cracking,

Its a different windscreen altogether with its own part number, order only from japan unfortunately
I should add that there are 3 different types of windscreen for the STi's, this is the most expensive one

I been unlucky on my MY06 Spec C and had 2 cracked screen now.
I spoke to Iain Litchfield first time round and he told me it was the same as a standard STi.
