What psi?
Hey folks.
I just got a classic 2000 Turbo about 2 weeks ago.
The guy i bought it off said it was totally standard witch i wanted. But on the boost gauge is reads 20psi. One of ma mates said that's not standard.
Was wondering what is the standard psi?
Cheers

Around 1 bar, which is, as near as makes no difference, 14psi.

That is over 1.3 bar, would be very careful untill you know what has been done to it.

Don't look at it as if it's only a few PSI more, look at it that the few PSI is circa a 40% increase !!!
Get it checked to be sure it's safe.
Mark.

Check your boost hoses, my standard McRAE used to overboost to 20psi due to a cracked hose.
