The 1996MY WRX debuts on January 1996. The WRX design received minimal mechanical changes, but a WRX V-Limited Edition was introduced to celebrate the success of the Impreza WRC car in the FIA WRC. It is mechanically the same to the WRX but has a curb weight of 1240 kg (2734 lb). The V-limited cars are painted in World Rally Blue.
What else ive found out is 500 are in blue and 500 in white

Theres not a lot info out there about the v-limited. What ive pieced together is from the following links.

You be lucky not a lot of info about, not that I could find anyway.
The only stuff I found was this, some might be wrong though.
Only 2 colours blue and white
Only 500 of each colour was made
Full electric pack, windows / doors / air con
Green tinted glass
Front seats has the FIA badge on them
FIA badge on bootlid
V-Limited badge on bootlid
ABS
This where it gets a bit messed up.
Some of them come as WRX's, but mine came with full STI spec: 4pot brakes, suspension, alloy arms, engine, quick shift box and so on. The more you search the web, you will come across owners saying they have closed deck blocks, then others say semi closed deck blocks again others say open deck blocks.
To me there seems to be no straight answer, seems to be what ever was lying around when the cars where getting built.
