Default N/A impreza

Hi guys, im getting my first scooby very soon. Its a hawkeye but the thing is, its a non turbo version. So am i out of place here? coz most of the posts ive read are wrxs and stis..

One more thing, the scooby is black. But im not too keen on adding black rims to it. any other suggestions? would a gunmetal multispoke with chrome on the sides look good?

Thanks yall

A scooby is a scooby mate! Welcome. The handling is really good on all impreza's and the Hawkeyes can be made to look awesome! (As they all can)

The gunmetal multispokes are definitely a good idea, they look good on the impreza.

Just make sure you get some pictures up when you get it!

You are more than welcome here, as are all Subaru owners.

You might find this site slightly more relevant, or you may not:
.:ImprezaSport.net:.

Welcome aboard soon anyways.

hi nothing wrong with a non turbo model i dont own a scoob yet but im gonna go for the classic shape scoob, after all if you decide you love the car a turbo conversion can always be done providing you dont mind the cost?

It would be like marty mcfly driving a delorean with no flux capacitor !!

although admittedly if your not worried about break neck boost then i suppose it would do , but you may always feel theres something missing .. good luck with your search

Thats the reason why I brought a Sport (N/A). I know at the end of the day I am going to get a WRX/STi, but the sport is a good compromise. You don't need a turbo to have fun.

Ignore all the **** comments mate.

Welcome. As the title suggests, it's 'SCOOBYNET' not 'IMWORRIEDABOUTTHE SIZEOFMYDINGALINGNET'

Enjoy.

......and that cost would be way, way more than selling the n/a and buying a turbo!!!

You'll find the same mentality on every car forum. There's always someone that will knock you down because it's not the top of the range!

The naturally aspirated Impreza will be a good car, and as said this is a forum for Subaru owners not just Impreza turbo owners.

Run what you can afford mate.
As previously stated this is 'SCOOBYNET' not I want the biggest BHP or Rearwing or anything else.
Everyone welcome as long as they have an interest in Scooby related matters of any description.

Welcome mate. Good choice with the hawkeye
Sure with a few choice mods you can make it look just as tasty as a turbo version, but won't be hit hard with the £400 tax

Post some pics of your car when you get it.
