Urgent advice sought regarding detango....
Apologies for posting this twice.... Need an answer to this question asap and thought someone on here might be able to help...
I'm elbows deep in doing my detango (MY03 STi) but can't work out how to remove the headlamp motor unit prior to placing the entire headlight unit in the oven....
Can anyone who's done this confirm firstly IF this can be removed and secondly, if so, how the 'ell does it come off....
Oven is nicely warmed on gas mark 1 and for the life of me I can't get the sodding motor units off.....
'ELP?!?

I couldn't figure how to get them out either, but the mechanic i had helping me did.
There are pictures on one of the de-tango threads, have a search for those. Some over at SIDC too.

I didn`t stick mine in the oven to seperate em tbh, stuck em in front of a fan heater for a while kept moving em round and prising em apart bit by bit. Worked fine and didn`t have to remove the motor.
