Default Licence points: Scooby drivers only

First of three polls to find out if the type of car you drive is connected to how often you get caught misbehaving.

3 points picked up a couple of weeks after getting the scoob. In all fairness, wouldn't put it down to the scoob, as would have been doing a similar speed in any of my previous 3 cars (Not scoobs)!

In the three years I've driven an STI for, I've not had any points. I have had 3 points (both SP30's) twice before in the past, but in much less powerful cars.

0 Points

Only ever had 3 points since passing my test, that was in 1998 caught by a hidden mobile camera - they're not allowed to do that anymore.

None(touch wood) since I passed my test 11 years ago. That's despite owning 6 cars totaling 1400+ BHP. It's nothing to do with the car you drive, it's knowing when to push on and having a sixth sense for the filth!(which I seem to have, it's weird!)

I had 3 points, gained whilst distractedly thinking about whether to buy the house I'd just viewed.

IMO distraction, day dreaming are far more likely to result in points than the particular car you drive. General attitude to speed and enforcement also plays a part.

I honestly believe the small minded **** chose to give me 3 points BECAUSE of the Scoob !

Back in the nineties when they were a bit more "special"....

I recently took 3 points for doing 54mph in a 50mph zone But it was in my van. I had a clean license for over 11 years prior to that
