Default For those with Carbon Mudflaps

So, i think i've jinxed my latest Scott Lowe order with that other thread:
https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...cott-lowe.html

I opened the carbon mudflaps up today and there are imperfections in the weave/print.

Does anyone else with the carbon mudflaps have these streaks in them??

Well pissed off. Pay £160 for mudflaps, then they look like this. Plus it takes 6 weeks to arrive!!!!

Surely that can't be the way they're supposed to look. I'd be miffed too mate. Sorry don't know the answer to your question but I'd be after replacements from them!

Clearly the weave has been snagged during manufacture.

Id back them too mate.

£160 is funking rediculous for mudflaps anyway. I got some genuine WRC kaylan ones for £100.

Got mine from carbon mods, only thing was the the fixings that came with mine were a bit on the small side so had to do some bodging, apart from that i think they're a good alternative.

Where did you get those from?

If there's alternative nice/wrc/carbon mudflaps available, i'm all ears as to where to get them from.

Can't wait another 6 weeks for these to be replaced.

Speak to the guys at performance creations mate. They not only do the normal flaps, they do them in WRC spec Kaylan too, its thicker and more durable than the normal PVC.

They come with stainless brackets and IMO having seen the Scott Lowes are every bit as good, if not better quality.

Check em out mate, nothing to lose i feel.

Only the standard ones are listed on their site but if you call and ask for the Kaylan ones they can supply those too.

i emailed this company about the mini carbon flaps and they aren't doing them at the moment as they were getting some problems in the manufacturing
it's their show season at the mo so they haven't got the available time to spend getting it how they want so it's on the back burner so to speak.

i'm sure you'll have no problems getting them changed Gaz, very easy mistake to make with the carbon fibre, but shocking they sent them out!

Still no reply from Scott Lowe. Just ringing out for 1.5 days.

I will speak to Performance Creations, didn't know about the WRC Kaylan ones. Thanks for that.

Managed to get an answer yesterday.

Apparently they all have some marks/blemishes in this type of weave.

New sets coming in this week and i should get a replacement before the end of the week.

If no replacement or they're still crap, then i'm deffo getting the WRC Kaylan ones from PC.
