Default Just replaced the brake discs on my uk turbo 2000

Really easy job.

1. remove pads
2. 2 bolts behind the disc, top and bottom.
3. slip off disc and replace.

Anyone who has this job on their list to do, its a peice of pi$$.

Thought I would share.

yeah completely. There are only 2 bolts you have to undo which mount the calipre to a braket that comees off the strut. So easy.

The disc itself is held on by the wheel nuts them selves once it is all done up tightly so its a case of just wiggling the disc off.

Make sure the hub surfaces where the disc sits are compleatly clean and rust free otherwise if the discs arnt running true you will end up with brake judder a few thousand miles down the line when disc thickness variation starts to show !!

Ha! indeed.

The bolts are quite easy to spot. They sit directly above each other and are the caliper side if you are looking at the strut.

Yeah I did this job - simple.

Rear brake pad change is the easiest though .... seconds.

Spark Plug change - simple.

To be honest, anyone who knows which way to hold a screwdriver can do most things on these cars ........... they are a beauty to work on, maybe thats why Haynes don't do a Manual for them? It's all so bleeding obvious!
