Apparently so, they will still use the 313 airspace at Scampton just as they did when they were based at Cranwell in 1995-2000

I love the countryside but I also love anything mechanical. If if it goes fast, smells and makes noise, I love it! You're a lucky man, you've got the best of both worlds!

PS Other than the fast bit, that describes the wife!

So they're only using a different runway then, flying time from Waddo to Scampton is about 2 minutes I would think, does that mean they are looking to close Scampton's runway. Seems a bit of an odd move.

They come down to Exeter every summer anyway.

And I live 5 miles away ontop of a hill on the Eastern approach.

Makes you jump when they come over at 2-300 feet in formation!!

A few years ago I flew as part of the "circus" gang, my mate left Cranwell with some drinks cans in the nose of the smoke pod. When we arrived at Exeter we performed the "spagetti break" and after landing he realised the nose of the pod had opened and the drinks were no where to be seen!!!
