Got back to my car today to find that some scumbag, ignorant, inconsiderate TW!T has opened their car door onto my rear drivers door, scratched right through to the base coat and put a 50p sized dent in it, right on the swage line(the ridge bit?).

It's not just the cost, it's the principle of the thing. No respect or common sense. To$$er$

thing is i can accept some people treat a car as a machine to get from a 2 b, but they should learn to respect others property and the fact some people take pride in their cars appearance. MINUS DENTS.

I'd imagine all the tourists in their hired Ford Ka's and Fiesta that you get in the Channel Islands at this time of the year don't help. Probably don't think about where or how they park as the car doesn't belong to them.

Even if my car was an old shed I'd be annoyed, it's just carelessness or plain ignorance. I deliberately parked on the end of a row, as far over to the side as possible, there was a good foot between my car and the line.

It really is one of my pet peeves. I'm sure we've all been in the situation where it is blowing a sodding gale, and the door gets ripped from your hand, but it wasn't windy yesterday so I can't even give them that excuse. Yet another example of the declining standards in today's society, moan, groan, mumble, mumble, bring back the birch.........

Ah well, either a respray of the door or a call to Dent Wizard.

Don't think it was a hire car, the tourists can't afford to come here these days, 2 weeks in Ibeefa is a lot cheapa, and the choons are bangin, init!
