GB270 Spoiler
Will be buying a hawkeye which has a GB270 wing fitted to it...
it's different...but tbh not to my taste... I much prefer the STi8 one...
Does anyone know where the GB270 wing is fitted, whether the holes are in the same position as a standard WRX spoiler?
Autotrader - SUBARU IMPREZA 2.5 GB270 4dr Saloon Special Editions
Will be buying an STi8 replica from Scoobyworld, and apparently their spoilers fit directly into the existing WRX holes... but before I buy, just want to make sure that there will not be any holes left from the GB270 wing.

i would have a serious think about buying a sti8 copy spoiler, i had mine from scoobyworld and hate it, i understand that it is 1/3rd the price of on original, but damn, the surface, although smooth to the touch, is undulating, i.e. when you see reflections in the paint, they are wobbly, the worst part is the ends, the original spoiler is completely flat, and reflections are reflected correctly, but this spoiler, the reflections on the ends are like reflections in water. I am now looking for an original spoiler as i cringe everytime i see mine up close. Mine was bought prior to the 'new' batch of spoilers, and i don't know if there is a significant improvement or not with the new spoilers. I guess i have learnt my lesson here, and the old adage that you get what you pay for certainly applies. btw There was a post on here about someone who imported a OEM spoiler from the US painted for little over £400.

I paid full whack for a genuine STi item when I had my WRX, looked the business but boy was it expensive!! I prefer the STi item to the GB270 one but that one still looks nice, I think I would keep it if it was on there however I'm sure there would be plenty of takers if you decided to sell it, esp as its in the right colour

It is a straight swap for the standard WRX spoiler. I had one fitted to my Spec D STI when bought. Not to my taste either so it went.
You can sell it for around £300 as they are £600 + new.

Thanks Mikkel, good to know it's a direct replacement.
Ok, will try to sell the GB270 to raise some funds for an STi8 spoiler... think I'm going down the replica route... have one on my bugeye now, and tbh though the quality is no way near OEM, i've been happy with it and couldn't justify spending more than double this for something that would look the same to most eyes.
What should I go for... one from Milsport £225 or Scoobyworld £250... which is better quality?
