Whats the average mpg for a 2.5 wrx sti ?
Im currently driving a jeep limited 3.7 v6 which is averaging around 17mpg and wondering if an sti would be better on fuel than my current beasty.

anyone know what the mpg is like on an evo8/9 fq 300

Depends how you drive it but the lowest I average is around 22mpg, the best is nearly 30.

Good point, neither am I on the MY06 and certainly MPG improved on my 95 classic after mapping, so perhaps mine isn't representative

27mpg every tankfull. not driven hard but still the fastest off every roundabout

We've got a Jeep Cherokee 3.7 V6 Auto and a 2006 STi Spec. D PPP, and the STi is definately averaging better mpg at about 23 - 24.
Our Jeep also only achieves a woeful 17 - 18, but great family wagon and useful for all the building work on my house, and quite a relaxing alternative to the STi.

I always seem to go between 20/22mpg, had it down much lower than that when having some country road fun mind, much lower.

my MY08 wrx sti is averaging around 25mpg when driven easy, but if im feeling fruity then its around 18/19mpg. All in all its not as bad as i had expected.
