What sort of scooby can I get for about 9 to 9.5k. Could I get a MY98 or 99 or is this unrealistic? I've got a dealer looking for a car at this price, including part exchange of my present car.

I bought my scooby a few months a go. I started looking at MY99 / 98 for around £11 / 10 grand. The more I looked, the more fed up I got with looking at rubish at this price. I looked at over 20 cars.
In the end I bought a MY97, in reddish blue, with aircon, FsubaruSH, 12 month subaru warranty, from a main dealer with 33,000 miles & 1 previous Dr owner. The car is like new it cost me £11,300.
I came to the conclusion that I would rather have a slightly older car (a year) with half the miles on it, in the colour I wanted, with air-con. Than an MY98 that I was just not happy with.

Keep looking its worth it for the right car.
