Cheers Pete,

I've never had gold wheels, and these are my third set of anthracite wheels!! And I've only had two Imprezas!!!

I personally think gold looks ok on some colours, just not silver!!! Anthracite on the other hand looks great on all colours!!!

Sorry Pete you still haven't convinced me or the Subaru/Prodrive World Rally Team that Gold wheels are crap.

I'm going to have my wheels refurbished in the spring, must remember to order that nice Saffron Yellow paint

Cheers

Hiya Lee - happy new year my son

So? if the Rally team ripped all the insides out of the car you would to?? hmmmmm thought so!!!

They run Gold because they always have - do you know the difference between you and a supermarket trolley?? the trolley has a mind of its own!!

Pete (nice to see you back anyway Lee)

hey Pete,

how's it going, happy new year to you sir!

I see you still haven't seen the light...yet

Can't be bothered to start the 'gold is best' argument, it's unfair, you'll only loose

Anyone who puts gold alloys on a silver car must want their head seeing to .... bad taste or what

Gold alloys only really look good on black Scoobs ... so there

Rebbeca,

Black or DBM.

Especially the very Dark Blue Mica on the Series McRae.

Not wishing to start an argument (makes a change!!), I did say that gold wheels look good on some cars! I think gold looks good on the dark blues, reds, greens and blacks.

As I said before anthracite looks good on the whole range (with the exception of white - maybe)

It's a personal thing. I prefer anthracite, hence choosing it for the third time!!!

I like the OZ Super T styling, and nearly bought a set of gold wheels for my car!!! I would have had them powered coated to anthracite though!!! Then the P1 wheels appear!! Job done!!!

Andy

Actually I was expecting someone to pipe up and say I've got gold alloys on my silver Scoob ....

at which point I'd have shot them ... so that'll make them keep quiet

The Scoobies can get married too

I hear tell that the scotsman lets you have a peak under his kilt (only once you are married of course!!)

I'll order the white scoobie limo WITHOUT gold wheels?

I only deal in silver rings (for obvious reasons!!)

The car is warm and I'm on my way - meet you by the second sheep on the moor on the left?

Pete, before the Scoobies get married (that'd be a first ) my Scoob wants to know a few details about what yours could offer mine

and you forgot to mention a time

Well mine is dressed in a nice snazzy Dark Blue Mica style outfit

Its quite young - not been around the block too many times - just enough to offer yours the touch of experience

Its very well serviced and well oiled

Doesnt loaf around and is not backwards in coming forwards

Is yours a male or female?

And 3pm ok with you? it gets dark soon after the ceremony!!! tee hee

Well, Pete ....

3pm ... almost too dark to see up a kilt (let's get the priorities right )

you've not said whether it's 4 or 5 door?

mine's male of course ... have to show it who's boss

The Kilt - of course how stupid of me!!

Mine is a 5-door wagon - shes very tall!!

Better make it 1pm then - that will give you a good 2 hours look ok???

My girl wants to know whether yours has had an exhaust enlargement or is it just the standard size?? of course size doesnt matter

Well never mind Happy ... one day you'll yearn for something far more worthwhile

(speaking as one who has 17" gold wheels )

Pete, as if you should have to ask ... of course it's had an exhaust enlargement and as I say 17" of nice gold wheels ..... and it's just had its bumper fixed ... in fact both back and front (by mistake)

1pm sounds much better ... how long will it take to get to the second sheep on the left on the moor then ?

and of course one mustn't forget the valve thingy under the bonnet "but I don't know what it does because I'm not a technician" is the quote from the guy who'd been driving it before me for the past year and works for a dealer
