could just be that someones had them done. i'm thinking of getting mine colour coded on my bug and getting some flaps to keep some of the chips off them
Not sure how much a decent body shop will charge to prep them and paint tho.....

my bugeye and blobeye both came standard with unpainted skirts, they are very easy to remove (few clips).
I had mine painted as they look so much better and for the £200 it cost to have them done properly is definately worth it.
On the bugeye i bought a new set of silver rubbers from the dealers (£36) but the blob i used the existing black ones (silver car again) and they looked ok

Yep mine cost £170 at a good reputable body shop. I was worried that they'd chip - the bloke said if I got them done cheap they would but if they are prep'ed and done properly they should be good.
