Question Diff, how much???

i may have a problem with my diff and popped it into a garage to get it checked out. i was told that if its the Diff it will be about £250, if the diff bearings have gone it will be over £400.

i own a non turbo scoob so does this sound about right?

thanks all

he said it could also be the wheel bearings

i would take it to a 'proper' garage but with my bus incident i cant afford to to do that atm

City auto salvage in Sheffield have one from a 97 sport, that will work fine. He wanted £100 plus vat last week.
