Fuel crisis or life crisis?

Fuel crisis or life crisis?
Listen up.
We all live in a country which is, despite what you like to think:
safe from armed civil unrest (think of Tibet at the mo);
modern (think of some mid-African country);
civilised (we have human rights);
regulated (maybe more than we would want);
respected throughout the world (except Iraq and Afghanistan); and
has an elected government (it rules with the will of the people).
To have all this, you need to pay tax. To ensure the world survives for ourselves and our children, we need to be much more aware of our environment and its limited resources, and use what we have in a responsible manner. That means fuel, and you can be sure it is never likely to be any cheaper than it is now. I know it , you know it.
Income Tax is a necessary evil - get used to it.
Petrol is expensive and will eventually run out - get used to it.
Life is like that, so get over it.
