Unhappy Down side of cleaning the car.

As much as i love cleaning my car, 5 hours worth today, i always hate the fact that i spot new car park dings on my doors. Today was even worse because as opposed to a ding this one has actually left a nice new white dent on the door.

She does look nice and shiney thanks to Halfords Ultra Deep shine.

Tell me about it !!!

I polished mine a couple of weeks back, made me want to cry. I saw quite a few. My neighbour came out and I was chatting to him, I said how its a bummer seeing the dings. He said he used to be a vehicle inspector for a hire co, he then walked round my car pointing out the dings I hadnt seen before.

Its the tin thin steel in the classics, I hear the new ages are more ding resistant.

I took mine in to be done, £30 a panel and I had all 4 doors and the two front wings - had to be done, it looks mint again now - get yours done, its worth it.

Saying that I now have a dog-box rover to drive to the supermarket in, I am actively trying to avoid ding situations!

I dont feel so bad now.....but feel sorry for you new age guys if its still an issue.

I made myself feel better by getting them all removed but am now scared to go to the shops!

It was my work car-park thats the worst. Whoever designed the white lines in our car park must have been driving a smart car and now deserves to be shot.

Oh yeah, bring on the Rover ! My old 214 is covered in dings and I love them all !

The Rover is great for taking the pain while the scoob is safe in my bat-cave.
