Smile Quiet (ish) 3" Exhaust Possible??

As above, I currently have a fully decat'd 99 Sti-R, 2.5 short block with a Blitz Nur Spec-R 3" system. Sounds amazing, but to be honest with the 2.5 engine it's way too loud!!! My wife can hear me nearly 2 miles away.

So I need some advice, I still want to stick with the 3" system, but am looking for a single round 3.5" tail like an original back box.
Like the look of the Haywood and Scott boxes but dont know how loud they are and of what quality!!

I know its a crazy thing to ask but I want a quiet 3" exhaust!!!!!

Thanks.

I have a full bespoke 3" race system from Simpson Race Exhausts.

My previous Hayward & Scott 3" was 109dB static @ 4000rpm
The Simpson system is only 91.5dB static @ 4500rpm.

Yes it is very possible to have a quiet system with awesome flow

It's a 3'' cat back system, i'm looking to decat at a later date. It cost £360 fitted including VAT. I think the tailpipe is about 3.5 inch, i'll measure it later if you want.
They sold it to me as being a little larger and louder than the Prodrive one. Just what I was after

Yeah that would be great thanks. On the website, they say its 100mm for the classic round one, thats nearly 4". Thats ok though, its my ears that are suffering at the moment.

Just been out, it must be the same tailpipe as the Classic one, it's 10cm.

HKS Silent Hi-Power is pretty quiet. My classic made 98dB at Castle Coombe last year. My NurSpec R cat back system is back in the garage as it just was too droning in the car.

its a cobra one - it was on the car when I got it, very quite though, until you open her up! I think it's just from the second cat too. Will you be keeping yours decatted? I'm also after getting that done too!! Do you wanna pm me a ball park figure mate??

Racebox from scoobyworld. I have a 3" straight through - magnex decat pipe, afterburner centre section and the racebox back box. I get the performance gains, the burble without the drone or complaints from the neighbours.

As above. Bit noiser than standard, with a decent roar when at full revs, but not too 'in your face' like some others. V pleased with mine and finished to a high standard too
