Default R1 GNO

Yup,

It used to belong to me for three years. Its the only TypeR in the UK with an electric factory sunroof. Imported new by a subaru dealer who lost their franchise as a result off doing a few of them.

Bought it like this in 2002.

Sold it like this in 2005:

Engine was rebilt by previous owner at 42K

It had full history and should come witha copy of magazine where it featured under star letter.

Its a version 4 type R with genuine Version 6 front end and a genuine Version 5 rear spoiler (no aftermarket copies).

Engine management is link ECU mapped by Bob Rawle. Brakes are AP 310mm 4pots. The seats were £1K each and are heated/cooled/electric Recaros.
Coilovers are Leda and the interior has real carbon panels. Extra Gauges are defi. the exhaust is one of the First Hayward and Scott Jap spec systems.

I have PM'd you my number for anything else.

thanks for that HOL.....must say im very excited about the car.
the car is now on 18in gold oz rims which look the nuts IMO.
Seems to have a great spec for the money im giving...picking it up monday so will post some pics up.

Do you know whether its the same spec now as when you had it.......i dont know whether paul comes on here.

I had a P1 a year or so ago but the chocolate engine syndrome scared me into selling it.

Got a cossie at the mo but tbh cant be arsed with the constant **** that goes with them so am going back to jap.

I actually too the original gold wheels off!!

I have not spoken to Paul in the three years tat he has had it, but his Brother in Law has mentioned that he was taking very good car of it.

It was one of the best specc'ed and highly rates TypeR's around when I first had it, but there are a few other quite nice ones out there.

It should have a larger polished top mount intercooler already fitted.

The engine should really still be 40-50k on from the rebuild so it really needs a TDO5 or equivalent turbo and some 550' Injectors as you will be knocking on 360-370BHP with that car.

I am quite envious, as that is by far my most favourite car to date, including the current one, which is technically more special.
AND I miss the sunroof.

You should get a nice file of receipts from new (Cost the first owner £33k in 1998), if paul has kept it up to date.

Have sent another PM as well.
