Default PPP Fuel

Just got a wrx 300 withthe ppp fitted as standard! Should i be running on super or normal juice. Stealer reckons only one of his entire customer base uses super. I'm not quite sure thats the truth!!!

Running on 95 RON will not cause any problems. However you will notice a drop off in performance and a reduction in MPG. I've had to run my car on 95 RON a couple of times and really notice the difference. Try both and see what diffence you notice.

never thought it mattered about fuel but use tesco 99 ron gets about 40 miles more a tank than 95. no shell garages near to me so it's the only option. I did fill up last week at a shell garage (because I was away from home) and I got nearly 300 miles for a full tank. I was amazed.

Now!

I've been using Optimax / V-Power in mine for the last 3 years. Last 3 tanks have been Tesco 99 RON.

It seems better. Consumption and power both seem improved.

Spot on quote.

I've got a STI with PPP and I use (in preference)

1. V power
2. Tesco 99
3. Any other Super unleaded.
