Default Resprays, do's and dont's?

Ive finally got to the point where apart from a remap, the only thing my car needs is alloys and a respray!
Respray quotes vary massively. i want a p1 front end facelift, mid level sti rear spoiler, and my doorhandles done, as well as a respray. I will supply the parts, i just want a quality job done!
I have been told that subaru silver is a nightmare to paint properly, and could look un even?
Can anyone shed some light on what the crack is?
Im looking to have this done around my birthday (may), so its ready for the summer, so a good qoute from someone reputable will lead to work being booked, and i dont mind travelling a bit for thr right quote/person to do it!

As usual, any thoughts are appreciated, thanks in advance people!

Where are you based? RGR of Cranfield (near Bedford) come highly recommended, I have had work done and can't fault them, price is reasonable as well.

I know, some of the quotes were in the region of 500 quid, bet that'll be a brilliant job!

I reckon between a grand and 1500 hundred, with me paying cash so the tax man doesnt rear his ugly head. An out of hours job or foreigner would be ideal!

Or is that not reasonable?

There ONLY one place to have a respray done and thats them loverly lads up at ScoobyClinic. They know how to colour match, better than Subaru can.

i guess for that price it would be a mask up job (seals, etc left in just masked up)?
I had some VX sideskirts, front lower spoiler, rear lower spoiler (xp kit) painted - quoted £400 or £300 cash
I paid cash and was more than happy with the job.
Went back for a quote on a rear panel (blended into door)on a mk5 golf and was quoted £400 cash in hand

There no too far from me too, but a guy on here said it was 2500 to repray a blobeye, slightly bigger car but my scoob isnt worth double that, so im not gonna blow that much, unless its an engine and glass out total colour change, but i dont want one of those!

They have done my cambelt and service, but i fancied a slightly cheaper option if there is one!
