Default WRX STi pin code?

Dear All,

I have noticed that the car I'm interested in (MY 55, WRX STi) has a little drawer kind of thing that you pull out and then enter a pin in. Is this standard on all cars or is it an added security? What does it do exactly?

The drawer is based underneath the steering wheel by the ignition key (where your knees go when your driving).

Can someone shed some light on this. Have any other STi owners got this?

Cheers

Ask the dealer/seller or have a read of the manual. Let's not give all the Scoobies secrets away on here!
