Back seat modification

Is it possible to modify the rear seats on a 4 door Impreza saloon in order that they can be folded down. ?

Well, nearly: the UK classics actually split fold so that longer items can be fed through, but don't entirely fold, ie: the seat squab doesn't lift, and the result isn't completely flat.
