Depends what you want, but if I had 19k to spend on a scoob I'd be looking at an early 06 spec c..

No brainer IMHO..!

Go for a new GB270 with 3yrs warranty and no risk of ending up with a dodgy 2nd hand Sti that's been hammered and meddled with like you see all the time on this site !

Lol, buy new and loose 4K straight away..!

Drive both and then see would be my approach if I had 19k to spend..

Go and see either PCM in (Manchester) or Litchfields (Tewkesbury) and drive a JDM/spec c and compare to a UK car. Only then will you know..

Performance Centre Manchester
Litchfield Imports | New & Used Cars from Europe and Japan

It does depend what you want at the end of the day..!

remember at £19k this is already discounted by £4k from the original list price so I wouldn't think you'd "lose" another £4k straight away......................

It's a new car purchase, you will loose a lot the minute it's driven away..!

Also, it's now an 'old' superseded model, residuals will reflect this..!

What is the point in the GB270? Wouldn't even consider buying one, never mind for Sti money.

I can see the point of the GB270 Wagon, less so the saloon where you have some other great options for the money.
